with Shannon and Rose
Join our fledgling community through a range of events.
Either online, in person at fledgling informal gatherings, attending events where we champion one another, or at retreats at Peacemakers.
A community solely designed for women, with the goal of supporting each other in every season, in refreshing ways, so that our creativity can flourish.
musings from Rose and Shannon
We are having a wonderful time going with the flow of this community, adjusting as we go. We have a weekly call where we share our lives and see how this new creative pursuit fits with all the other things happening.
As women we know you will identify with this as there are often many demands on our time and energy.
We realise we were very ambitious aiming to facilitate 5 retreats this year. If this was the only work we were doing it is possible. However, it is not, and we have decided to have only one more retreat this year, in August and we have three people already registered.
Get in touch if you would like to attend.
We have also been dreaming of how to help our community connect in person and champion one another's creativity when it launches into the world.
so.....
Saturday May 9th at 2:30pm fledgling informal.
We will meet at Orewa Surf Club, on the ramp down to the sand. If the weather is fine we will wander the beach, if not we will have a cuppa indoors. This is a chance to continue friendships begun at the retreat, share how your creativity is moving, or come and connect for the first time.
Friday June 12th 7:30-9:00pm Rose's Book Launch
Alan Melville Centre alternatively called the Pioneer Women's Memorial Hall, 2 Freyberg Place, Auckland City.
Come and celebrate the launch of Rose's book. We will organise a carpool and if there is enough interest go earlier for a meal in town.

your feedback
We would really appreciate hearing your ideas of ways we can connect and also feed our souls and therefore our creativity.
Here are some ideas Rose and I have had that we think will nourish our creativity: getting out in nature, listening to a music event, going to a local craft collective, visiting a beautiful garden, enjoying a good meal, visiting the creative space that you have created, going on a road trip to an artists/writing retreat near Whanganui (thanks Pauline), visiting an Air BnB in Tinopai, (thanks Noeline).
Please drop us an email answering these questions.
What would you like to do?
What days work best for you? Saturday or Sunday
Would you be interested in a weekend away?
Thanks heaps
